Spiced Plums in Port

Recipe Supplied by: Jennipher Marshall-Jenkinson
Serves: 3 People

Ingredients:
400g plums, halved and stoned
1 orange, juice and zest
6 cloves
Sprinkle of mixed spice
1 dessert spoon caster sugar
1 cinnamon stick
2 tbsp Port

Method:
1. Place the plums into a microwaveable container, cover with the juice and zest of the orange, cloves, mixed spice, caster sugar, cinnamon stick and Port.
2. Cover with a well fitting lid and cook on 750W for 3-5 minutes, depending on the ripeness of the fruit.
3. Let the fruit rest a few minutes, this will help develop the flavours from the juices at the bottom of the dish. Spoon some fruits into a bowl, pour over some of the juice, and serve with crme fraiche.
