Quick Tips for 1lb of Swede

Recipe Supplied by: Anne Reney-Smith
Serves: 8 People
1. Scrub the Swede and prick deeply.
2. Place in a roasting bag with a couple of tablespoons of water, seal loosely, leaving a steam vent.
3. Microwave for 8-10 minutes until the Swede feels soft when squeezed. Take care, as it is very hot.
4. Carefully remove the Swede and allow to cool slightly, then with a sharp knife simply shave off the peel.
5. Then chop mash or puree with butter and pepper
