Hot Cross Puddings

150 mls milk
1 dessertspn sugar
scant 1/2 teaspn cinnamon
2 hot cross buns halved and buttered
Whisk the milk, egg, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a jug with a fork to combine.
Set the 2 buttered hot cross buns in 2 individual large ramekin dishes or one small shallow oven proof dish.
Pour the custard mixture over the buns and leave to stand for 30 minutes, so that the bread absorbs all the custard.
Cook on MEDIUM HIGH power for 6 minutes, until the custard is set. Serve with a spoon full of vanilla ice cream - delicious!
This recipe uses a 900 watt oven, and is also perfect if raisin or fruit bread is used instead of hot cross buns
